Like thunder in the night, you have to hear me roar. I’m not a believer in going “silently into the night.” I refuse to be silenced. I’ll never be content, because I will always be hungry for more growth. I will never condone evil, for I will always stand in for those without a voice.
My story began 24 years ago, in small town Alabama. You could say I’m home grown.
I was born to a high school drop-out and a meth addict. The addict spent the majority of my life in prison. The drop-out became a warrior and my hero, confidant, and role model.
I grew up in poverty, knowing better than to ask for gifts on holidays when they couldn’t be afforded. That aforementioned warrior molded me into a perfectionist destined for university.
In school I excelled. A competitve nature served me well in sports, organizations, and work too. Quitting was never an option. Failing was never an option. If I fell, that was another opportunity to stand back up.
If one was to cease to learn, they cease to grow.
I beat the odds. I was never suppose to accomplish my dreams, but here I am surpassing them.
Those who know me describe me as BOLD. BLUNT. BEAUTIFUL. RAW. CONFIDENT. A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH.
